Inspect the cooling-water intake and discharge condition, hoses, clamps, water-pump service components, thermostat or temperature-control components where fitted, and accessible cooling passages for restriction, leakage, corrosion, or salt accumulation. Check the fuel system for water, leaks, deteriorated hoses, restricted filters, damaged connectors, and evidence of stale or contaminated petrol, and inspect ignition components for corrosion, tracking, loose terminals, or heat damage.
