Impeller inspection: check for corrosion, erosion, fouling deposits, cracks, and dynamic balance; re-balance or replace if deviations exceed ISO 1940-1 tolerances

Bearing inspection and lubrication: verify bearing temperature and vibration levels; replace grease in non-sealed bearings at intervals specified by manufacturer; check for unusual noise indicating wear

Belt drive inspection (GT-3/GT-5): check belt tension, alignment, and wear; inspect pulleys for grooves or cracks; replace belts in sets to maintain balanced loading

Shaft seal and corrosion check: inspect shaft seals for leakage; verify anti-corrosion shaft coating integrity, especially in saltwater/humid marine environments

Motor and electrical connections: check motor insulation resistance (megohm test), terminal tightness, cable gland integrity, and IP55/ATEX certification compliance for explosion-proof variants

Casing and access hatches: inspect casing for corrosion, especially weld seams and Pittsburgh folds; verify access hatch seals are intact and hatches secure fully

Vibration and noise analysis: measure and record vibration signature at each maintenance interval; compare to baseline to detect early bearing or impeller degradation

Inlet/outlet ductwork and dampers: inspect flexible connections for cracks; verify damper actuators operate freely; check for duct corrosion or blockage that could cause pressure imbalance
