Differential pressure check on MESB (Mechanical Emulsion Breaker) second-stage elements — replace when DP reaches maximum allowable 1.5 bar or per scheduled interval (approx. every 2 years)

Oil content monitor (OCM/OMD) calibration and sensor verification — confirm alarm trips at ≤15 ppm and automatic overboard valve closure functions correctly

Automatic oil drain valve (first-stage MPS vessel) function test — verify solenoid actuates and drains retained oil to slop/sludge tank without bypassing

Visual inspection and operational test of the 3-way overboard stop valve — must default to closed/recirculate position on power failure or high-ppm alarm

Bilge pump (helical rotary/gear pump with geared motor) inspection — check shaft seal integrity, lubrication, and flow performance against rated m3/h

Sample line integrity check — verify 0.1–4 l/min sample flow to OCM is unobstructed, clean, and representative of separator outlet

Inspection of all non-return valves, gaskets, and MESB-element seals for wear or leakage; cross-check part numbers against OEM list

Review of ORB (Oil Record Book) entries and cross-check with separator run hours, alarm logs, and MEPC.107(49) type-approval certificate validity
