Check the functionality of all safety locks and locking mechanisms in the stowed position and lowered position
Visual inspection of all steel structures for corrosion, cracks and wear marks, especially at welds and bolted connections

Test manual emergency hand crank function and test of redundancy / locking mechanism during operation
