This function automatically calibrates and tests the detector every 24 hours, guaranteeing consistent performance. The BD-501/EX is specifically designed for integration with Autronica’s interactive fire detection systems and must be connected to the approved AutroSafe barrier type BZ-500. Additional features include a protective coating for the PCB and sealing of the sensing element, making it suitable for demanding applications found in heavy industry, maritime and offshore settings. The BD-501/EX is available with part number 116-BD-501/EX.
