On ships, the effective treatment of slop oil is crucial for environmental compliance and operational efficiency. The Alfa Laval LYNX 35 decanter centrifuge addresses this challenge by offering a high-performance solution for separating slop oil into its constituent phases. With its ability to generate centrifugal forces exceeding 3,500 G, the LYNX 35 efficiently separates high-density oil from water, achieving unprecedented clarity in the separated liquids. The unit's online inter-phase adjustment feature allows for real-time optimization of separation quality without mechanical intervention. Its specially designed bowl geometry and 360° solids discharge port enhance particle separation and ensure that the discharged solids are as dry as possible.
