Submersible Pump · Pumps
Submersible slurry pumps are commonly used in shipboard applications where fluids containing abrasive solids need to be moved, such as in bilge water systems or wastewater management. The Grindex Bravo-300 is designed for such tasks, offering a compact solution for applications that do not require the heavy-duty capabilities of larger models. It is an electrical submersible three-phase slurry pump classified as IP 68, capable of operating submerged up to 20 meters. The pump is equipped with a 20-meter cable and requires an external starter box for operation. It features a discharge connection that can accommodate hoses, BSP, or NPT fittings. The Bravo-300 is suitable for handling fluids within a pH range of 5.5 to 14 and up to 40°C (70°C upon request). The pump has a rated power of 7.5 kW (10 hp) and a maximum power consumption of 8.9 kW. With a shaft speed of 1735 rpm, it can pass solids up to 50 mm (2 inches) in diameter. The pump measures 760 mm (30 inches) in height and 460 mm (18 inches) in diameter, weighing 157 kg (346 lbs).
