Weekly visual inspection of stuffing box packing, shaft seal rings, and mechanical seals for signs of leakage, discoloration, or wear patterns. Check for weeping around seal area and verify proper packing tension.

Roller bearing condition assessment every 800 operating hours minimum. Check grease quantity and condition, listen for abnormal noise (rumbling indicates wear), and perform visual inspection of bearing temperature and housing integrity.

Monitor suction line pressure, filter condition, and flow velocity. Inspect pump casing interior for pitting or erosion marks. Listen for cavitation noise (gravel-like sound). Verify suction line diameter is adequate and free of restrictions.

Oil level and condition check weekly. Renew vent filter yearly and perform complete oil change every 3,000 operating hours. Verify oil type matches specification and check for water/fuel contamination via oil analysis sampling.

Monitor vibration levels and operating noise for changes indicating bearing degradation. Inspect timing gear engagement clearance. Verify external bearing lubrication system operation. Check for any particles in discharge or bearing compartment via drain sampling.
