The Taiko Kikai MSTE-H is a vertical, medium-pressure, 3-screw pump. This pump is designed specifically for crosshead type diesel engines and functions as a crosshead lube oil pump. It consists of a single power rotor and two idler rotors, all housed within a sleeve. The idler rotors are driven by the liquid pressure. The MSTE-H series is suitable for handling oils with a maximum temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. The internal bearing is self-lubricated by the pumped liquid, making it ideal for use with lubricant fluids. The mechanical seal is the standard shaft seal. The pump's suction flange is JIS5K, while the discharge flange is JIS16K. The allowable alignment value at the shaft coupling side surface, at a rotational speed of 2000~500 min-1, should be under 0.1mm, and at the shaft coupling end surface, under 0.1mm. The maximum pressure rating for the hydraulic test is 3.20MPa, twice the designed specification pressure. The discharge capacity is measured at a viscosity of 25.8mm2/s and a total pressure of 1.20MPa.
