This rescue boat is powered by a 60HP petrol engine and meets the stringent requirements of SOLAS 1974/96, LSA code MSC 81(70) IMO, Res. MSC.218(82) and IMO Res MSC.226(82), Part 1, Section 7 and EU Directive 96/98/EC. Equipped with a standard mast with a lifting eye rated at 1.6 tons, the Viking MOB 470 can be righted by two people after capsizing. Measuring 4.75 meters in length, 1.75 meters in height, and 1.90 meters in width, it weighs 664 kg. The boat comes standard with essential safety equipment, including two paddles, a bailer, a compass, a painter, a towline, a signaling lamp with a whistle, spare batteries and bulb, a first aid box, two quoits with float line, a searchlight with a 12V 66Ah battery, a radar reflector, two rescue bags, a knife, a boathook, two boarding ladders, a powder-type extinguisher, and a bucket.
