Standard Horizon SH PLB-100 is a emergency position-indicating radio beacon (EPIRB / SART / Personal Locator Beacon (PLB)). It is normally installed at the designated bridge, survival-craft or personal safety location appropriate to the beacon type, ready for immediate emergency use. It is intended to assist distress alerting and location of survivors or survival craft through the radio or satellite system applicable to the device type.
