Inflatable Life Raft (SOLAS-A) · Life Rafts
Fujikura SOLAS-A Soft Valise 6P-B is a inflatable marine life raft in the Life Rafts / Inflatable Life Raft (SOLAS-A) category. Equipment of this class is typically installed at an approved embarkation or deck stowage position in a canister, valise, cradle, or launching arrangement accessible during abandonment. Its shipboard purpose is to provide emergency flotation, shelter, and survival support for persons abandoning the vessel. The exact piping, electrical, control, foundation, and accessory arrangement depends on the vessel and the installed configuration. Any differences from adjacent models in the same family, including rating, size, material, control, certification, or accessory differences not explicitly listed here, should be confirmed in the manufacturer documentation.
What our service work and the manufacturer documentation say about keeping this model running.
Check stowage accessibility, securing and lashing, painter routing, hydrostatic release and weak-link arrangement where fitted, canister condition, service label, capacity identification, and launching clearance. Internal inspection and repacking must be performed by an approved service station according to applicable requirements.
Onboard replaceable items are generally limited to approved securing, lashing, signage, or release components; raft inflation and internal survival-equipment spares are normally handled through an approved service station.
