Epoxy Primer · Paint & Coating Systems
Nippon Paint Marine NPM Primer Deck House is listed as a Epoxy Primer within the Paint & Coating Systems category. It is typically installed on the designated hull, deck, tank, machinery-space or topside substrate as part of the vessel’s protective coating system. Its engineering role is to protect steel or other substrates from corrosion, fouling, wear or environmental exposure according to the coating type. The complete model designation should be retained when matching drawings, certificates, service information and spare parts because neighboring variants may differ in configuration even when they share the same equipment family. The exact shipboard arrangement and interfaces remain installation-specific and should be checked against the vessel’s approved drawings and equipment documentation. Where an operating value, tolerance, wear limit or setting is not explicitly stated in the source data, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.

What our service work and the manufacturer documentation say about keeping this model running.
Inspect coating continuity, adhesion-related defects, corrosion breakthrough and damage at welds, edges and high-wear areas. Repairs should use the approved coating scheme and surface-preparation procedure. Film thickness, curing times and environmental application limits not supplied in the source entry must be taken from the coating manufacturer’s documentation.
Maintain compatible repair coating, approved thinner or cleaner where permitted, and the vessel’s standard surface-preparation and application consumables.
