NCR-333A Mk2
JRC (Japan Radio Co) NCR-333A Mk2 is a GMDSS NAVTEX receiver. It is normally installed on the bridge or in the radio-navigation console with a suitable antenna and ship power supply. Its primary purpose is to receive maritime safety information including navigational and meteorological warnings. Unlike two-way GMDSS radios, NAVTEX is primarily a broadcast receiver and depends on correct station selection, message filtering and antenna performance.
