The Smith Berger Universal Fairlead SWL-60t is a deck fitting that guides mooring lines or wires and changes their direction at the ship's side or deck without sharp bending or chafing. It has a safe working load of 60 tonnes and is welded or bolted to the deck or bulwark. It is used on mooring decks to reduce wear on lines and keep loads aligned to winches and bitts.
