This V-configured, 18-cylinder engine operates at 900 rpm and generates a substantial 9720 kW of power. The genset configuration provides 9234 kW and 11542 kVA, operating at a frequency of 60 Hz. Each cylinder displaces 42.3 liters and produces 530 kW at 750 rpm in the standard L35/44DF variant, while the CD variant offers an enhanced 560 kW per cylinder. The engine is designed to meet stringent emission standards, including IMO Tier II for diesel operation and IMO Tier III for gas operation. Key features include a mean effective pressure of 20.0–20.1 bar and specific fuel oil consumption of 175.5 g/kWh at 85% MCR. The CD variant further reduces methane slip by 85% compared to industry standards, enhancing environmental performance.
