Submarine Cargo Hose · Cargo Hoses & Manifolds
Yokohama YK Submarine 20in x 9m is a shipboard unit in the Cargo Hoses & Manifolds group, classified in the source as Submarine Cargo Hose. It is normally installed at cargo manifolds, hose handling stations, offshore loading points or the ship-to-ship transfer connection, depending on the hose type. Its primary duty is to transfer the designated liquid or liquefied cargo between the vessel and shore, another vessel, or an offshore loading system while accommodating movement and hose handling. In service it interfaces with cargo piping, manifold flanges or couplings, hose saddles and handling gear, and the vessel's cargo transfer procedures. Compared with neighboring entries in the same product family, this record is the exact Yokohama YK Submarine 20in x 9m variant; the model designation should be retained unchanged when matching onboard documentation and spares. For exact limits, settings, test values and approved maintenance criteria, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.
