The Tanabe H-63 is a 2‑stage oil‑lubricated start air piston compressor delivering up to 30 bar at 18.5 kW, primarily used to provide high‑pressure air for diesel engine starting on marine vessels. As a Start Air Compressor, it is normally installed in the engine room, compressor room, cargo machinery space or refrigeration plant according to the listed duty. In that role, its primary purpose is to compress air, refrigerant or process gas for the shipboard service identified by the category. Starting-air, service-air, refrigeration and cargo-gas compressors differ in medium, sealing and protection, but all depend on sound compression elements, cooling, lubrication and controls. Capacity: 63 m³/h FAD @ 30 bar. For exact ratings, dimensions, settings, capacities, materials and variant-specific limits, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.

Free of charge — send us your request for Tanabe equipment. Our team checks it and replies by e-mail.

Makers and authorised dealers rarely quote marine equipment without the vessel. With these details we can check availability and prices faster; without them we may have to ask first, which can cost a few days. If you cannot share the vessel, a photo of the equipment’s rating plate does the same job — attach it below or send it as a reply to our confirmation e-mail.
