The Kingfisher DC Marine Air Conditioner was developed and brought to market in 2021. Today, satisfied customers are enjoying their Kingfishers onboard from South Africa to Tahiti, to the Caribbean. A true DC air conditioning unit with patented technology, the Kingfisher is easy to install and fully field serviceable by qualified ABYC technicians. It uses proprietary state of the art electronics and firmware, and has a unique algorithm specifically designed to minimize the current draw. No inverters, no generators, no soft start.
