Schwerpunkt: BEEGRIP traces its origins back to its predecessor, RS Clare. RS Clare was founded in the UK in 1748 as a lubricant manufacturer. Over time, the company developed the anti-slip coating system ‘BIMAGRIP’, which was first publicly adopted and installed on the link spans of Liverpool’s port quays in 1989. Since then, it has built up a track record on numerous RO/RO and PCTC vessels, and is now used on a total of nearly 300 vessels. In terms of market share for ship construction, the system holds a 70% share in China, 90% in South Korea, and 10% in Japan
