ABB AMI three-phase induction motor for direct-drive marine propulsion and large thrusters. Power range 1-30 MW, voltage 3-13.8 kV. Dual-shaft option for shaft-line propulsion with PTO. Class F insulation, IC81W water-air cooling. The AMI series is the workhorse motor for VFD-driven Azipod and shaft-line installations.
