Vertical Cargo Pump
Shinko vertical cargo pumps are the classic Japanese approach: motor on deck, long shaft through the tank to the pump impeller at the bottom. Widespread on Japanese and Korean standard crude tankers as an alternative to Framo systems. Simpler design than Framo, but larger deck footprint.
