Laby Marine Series

Burckhardt Compression is a Swiss premium compressor manufacturer from Winterthur, founded 1844. The Laby Marine series uses the patented labyrinth piston seal principle for contactless, oil-free compression. Primarily for LNG/LPG carriers as boil-off gas compressor (BOG), but also for high-pressure start air and process gas. High-priced, but extremely long-lasting. De facto standard on LNG carriers for BOG handling.
