K-Load Version 5.0 is Kongsberg’s bridge integration system that aggregates data from radars, AIS, ECDIS, gyro‑compasses and other navigation sensors into a single, configurable display suite with built‑in redundancy.

Class survey
Integrated bridge/navigation systems are covered under SOLAS Ch. V navigation equipment carriage requirements. Class/flag checks that individually type-approved sensors remain type-approved, that the integration does not degrade required stand-alone functionality, and that backup/redundancy arrangements meet the applicable IBS/INS performance standard (e.g. IEC 61924-2). Software version and configuration records should be retained for survey.
