A handheld portable multi-gas detector that can simultaneously monitor up to four gases and includes an internal pump for active air sampling in confined spaces. As a Portable Multi-Gas Detector, it is normally installed in the protected space, on the person, or at a fixed sensor point with signals returned to the relevant alarm or monitoring system. In that role, its primary purpose is to detect hazardous gas, oxygen condition, fire indication or another safety-related condition identified by the listed category.
