The challenge was to design a Panama chock capable of accommodating even the most oversized sockets , without compromising available deck space or increasing the vessel's weight. Key Features: Custom Design: This openable Panama chock is specifically designed to allow the passage of sockets of various sizes, ensuring maximum operational flexibility for military vessels that need to interact with different ships and equipment. Compact Size and Maximum Functionality : Although compact and designed to accommodate the largest mooring lines , the innovative design allows the chock to be closed after the socket has passed through, maintaining a high level of safety during operations. RINA Certification : This product complies with stringent international standards and is RINA-certified. Technical Innovations: Re-engineering of DIN 81915 Standard : While based on this international standard, the Posidonia openable Panama chock has been redesigned to offer a significantly higher SWL (safe working load), currently the highest globally. High-Quality Materials : Fabricated from Duplex steel (but also available in standard alloy steel ), the openable Panama chock is constructed using welded tubes and plates , ensuring superior quality compared to cast models. IMO 1175 Certification : Our Panama chocks comply with all regulations required for use in complex and specific marine environments.
