Structural Integrity and Corrosion: Examine cast steel components for cracks, corrosion, and anti-corrosion protective coating condition; verify weld integrity on mounting bases

Swivel Head Function: For swivel fairleads, test full rotation range (+/- 90°) and ensure smooth swivel movement without stiffness or binding

Mounting Base and Fasteners: Inspect welded or bolted connections for looseness, cracks, and proper tightness; verify no movement or separation at installation points

Removable Guide Roller Condition: Verify guide rollers are securely attached, rotate freely, and show no signs of wear or damage

Chain/Rope Wrap Test: Perform breaking strength tests with appropriate wrap angle (90° for swivel fairleads, 180° for pedestal rollers) per ISO13728 or DIN81915 standards
