DATA winches, produced with a pulling capacity of up to 800 kN (80 tons), offer high performance, durability, and low maintenance even under the most demanding marine conditions. Winches can be powered by electric or hydraulic motors. Each system is delivered as a complete unit, including an electro-hydraulic or main engine-driven hydraulic power unit, electric control cabinet, and bridge/deck control panel. All DATA winches are tested in accordance with international classification society standards and can be supplied with class certification upon request. Following factory acceptance tests, DATA service engineers can also participate in onboard commissioning tests. Buraya tıkla Winches Catalogue Hydraulic Motor Driven Towing Winches Features DATA towing winches are manufactured with pulling capacities up to 80 tons and braking capacities up to 180 tons. The specially designed gearboxes with hardened steel gears operate in an oil bath. The drum clutches are of the friction type and are operated by compressed air. This system allows the clutch to be engaged or disengaged at any drum position and at any desired moment. The clutch also acts as overload protection. The clutch is engaged by compressed air and disengaged by spring pressure. The drum brake operates on the opposite principle: Engaged by spring pressure, Released by compressed air. The drum clutch and brake system are operated by a single lever on the control panel. The surface on the drum brake where the brake contacts is made of stainless steel. Depending on the braking capacity, one or two brake drums may be used. An emergency release system is standard on all DATA towing winches. By pressing a single button on the bridge control panel, the brake and clutch are released and the drum is freed. Automatic spooling device is available for steel wire rope winches. Aft towing winches can be single or double drum on the same shaft. Forward winches can be combined with one or two chain gypsies. Optional monitoring systems are available: Rope length and load data can be monitored via a touchscreen bridge display. Automatic tension control mode is also optional. The desired rope tension can be set as a percentage of the maximum pulling capacity. Hydraulic Towing Winch Power Unit Features Hydraulic pumps can be driven either by the main engine or by electric motors. To ensure higher safety, DATA prefers to use dual pump units in both configurations. When both pumps are operating, the winch runs at full capacity. When only one pump is in operation, the winch maintains full pulling capacity but operates at half speed. The hydraulic pumps are of variable displacement type, while the valves are proportional control type. This configuration allows stepless speed control with minimal heat generation. Bow and stern winches can be operated from a common hydraulic towing winch power unit. If desired, other onboard hydraulic systems can also be powered from the same unit. Hydraulic units are equipped with the necessary valves, filters, and marine-type oil coolers. In hydraulic towing winches, low-speed and high-torque radial piston motors are preferred for heavy-duty service. Depending on the size of the winch, one or two hydraulic motors may be used. Hydraulic winches are offered with two-speed operation through dual-displacement motors. The winch speed can be adjusted from zero to maximum using the proportional joystick on the control panel. Tugger Winches Features DATA tugger winches are manufactured with pulling capacities up to 20 tons. The winches can be driven by hydraulic or electric motors. Mirror image models are available for starboard and portside installation. The shark jaw clutch and drum brake are operated manually.       Anchoring Winch Features In cases where no space is available for the chain locker, steel wire rope can be used instead of a chain. In such cases, a drum-type anchor winch should be used. DATA anchor winches are manufactured with pulling capacities up to 20 tons. The winches can be driven by either hydraulic or electric motors. Mirror image models are available for starboard and portside installation. The dog-type clutch and drum brake are manually operated. Hoisting Winches Features The planetary gear is integrated into the drum, resulting in an extremely compact winch design. DATA hoisting winches are manufactured with pulling capacities up to 15 tons. The drum clutch and drum brake are not included; instead, a hydraulically released brake is integrated into the gearbox input.
