 has been tasked by the vessel owners with obtaining best and final offers for this unused 2007 build Rolls Royce Brattvaag KM404 500 ton winch model BSL 454W/SL 454 W, lying Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The winch consists of a steel welded construction with two winch drums with a separate rope spooling device.

The upper drum is the towing drum, the lower is the anchor handling drum. Winch drums are overwind and smooth. Drums are driven by two low pressure hydraulic motors installed on a central drive shaft. Each winch drum is equipped with a hydraulic activated band brake. On starboard side there is a gypsy / chain wheel for 76 mm studlink chain. On port side there is a gypsy / chain wheel for 140 mm studlink chain.

Double 45 t spooling gear : 4570 x 2500 x 5070 mm total weight: 20.360 kgs

The rope spooling device consists of a steel welded construction with two main separate guiding shafts and rollers. The upper system is for the towing drum, the lower system for the AH drum. 

The roller fairleads are chain driven. Each system is driven by two separate hydraulic motors.
