The SteriLobe® Series pump utilizes multi-lobe rotors to gently handle a variety of products, minimizing shear and pulsation effects. This makes it ideal for sensitive media found in pharmaceutical, food, and beverage applications. Manufactured by Viking Pump, the SteriLobe® Series is designed for hygienic operation with a cleanable cover joint profile that improves self-draining capabilities. The stainless steel gear cover and bearing housing contribute to its clean and corrosion-resistant design. Maintenance is made easier with front-loading seals that can be changed while the pump remains inline. The seal's position is optimized for lubrication, maximizing its lifespan. Furthermore, the gearbox features sealed for life bearings for hassle-free maintenance. The SteriLobe® Series can handle flows up to 753 GPM (171 m³/h), viscosities to 910,000 SSU (200,000 cSt), pressures up to 218 PSI (15 BAR), and temperatures up to +300°F (+150°C). It offers various porting options including Tri-clamp, flanged, DIN, IMDA, NPT, and BSP, and is driven by a purchased gear reducer.
