Test internal and external pressure relief valve settings (typically 5-25 bar range for lube oil pumps); verify no external weeping from shaft seals or port connections; check for unexpected pressure fluctuations or inability to maintain rated pressure

Monitor outlet fluid viscosity and temperature during operation (typical range -15°C to +60°C); perform regular ISO particle count analysis; inspect inlet filter condition and replace per manufacturer schedule; verify fluid compatibility with pump materials (NBR, Viton, EPDM, or PTFE seals)

Verify coupling alignment within tolerance; check for signs of excessive vibration or unusual bearing noise; inspect hollow shaft configurations for proper seal integrity; confirm hollow shaft coupling fitment and locking mechanism security
