Liferaft Davit · Davits
Fassmer Liferaft SWL-3t-B is a liferaft davit (Davits / Liferaft Davit). It is normally installed on the embarkation or boat deck adjacent to the survival craft it serves. It is intended to hoist and launch a davit-launched inflatable liferaft. The meaning of any embedded size or rating code should be confirmed in manufacturer documentation. In service it interfaces with the survival craft, falls or launching track as applicable, winch and brake, hooks or release gear, limit devices and securing arrangements.

What our service work and the manufacturer documentation say about keeping this model running.
Inspect structure, welds, fasteners, falls, sheaves, winch, brake, hooks or release connections, limit devices and corrosion protection. Verify operational testing and maintenance records for the launching appliance and associated survival craft. Load tests, renewal criteria and exact adjustment values must follow statutory, class and manufacturer requirements rather than estimated figures.
Typical spares include approved wire-rope or fall components where carried, sheave or pin service parts, brake linings or service kits, limit switches, hydraulic seals where fitted and corrosion-protection materials specified by the maker.
