AIT3000 Mk2
The True Heading AIT3000 Mk2 is an AIS transponder. It is normally installed on or near the bridge with VHF/GNSS antennas and bridge data interfaces. It is designed for automatic exchange of vessel identity, position, course, speed and voyage information. The operating principle relies on periodic AIS data transmission and reception over marine VHF channels.
