Rescue Boat Davit · Davits
Survival Systems International SSI Rescue Boat SWL-15t — Davits. As a Rescue Boat Davit, it is normally installed at a designated lifeboat, rescue-boat or life-raft launching station, structurally attached to the vessel. In that role, its primary purpose is to support, lower and where applicable recover the assigned survival craft. Gravity, freefall-support, liferaft and rescue-boat davits differ in geometry and operating sequence, so model-specific launching and recovery procedures must follow the approved appliance documentation. For exact ratings, dimensions, settings, capacities, materials and variant-specific limits, refer to the manufacturer documentation for the exact figure.
