SRT AIS-100
SRT Marine Technology SRT AIS-100 is a Automatic Identification System transponder. It is normally installed on the bridge with dedicated VHF and GNSS antenna arrangements and interfaces to heading, speed and position sensors. Its primary purpose is to transmit and receive structured vessel identity, position, course, speed and voyage information. Unlike radar, AIS relies on cooperative radio transmissions from equipped vessels and on correct own-ship data and sensor inputs.
